no matches to find,
just turn the knob

This is the first time in my
life that I've
ever felt sad to leave a place I've stayed at.
It shouldn't be so strange since you two treat
your guests like family. This, above all, makes
your home the best.

Thanks for a most
comfortable stay during our
2 busy days in Seattle. Your hospitality and
friendliness was greatly appreciated--we feel
special to be your first guests. We asked
Daintry what comment we should write about
Blue--and the only word that came out of her
mouth was "LOVE" (so you know what
impression he made on the children).

This was our first B&B
experience, and instead of
staying in some cold hotel, we found the comfort of
your home and your warm personalities the highlight
of our trip. The true comforts of home:
great
breakfasts, comfy bed, soft towels and a warm
atmosphere. Thank you for a great experience.

I feel so blessed to have
found this wonderful
place with such wonderful hosts. You both brought
joy to my visit which was stressful at times. It
was nice to have such a warm, friendly place to
return to at the end of my day. I hope to be
back in May--who knows--maybe next time I'll just
stay...

Thanks for your wonderful
hospitality (you also
managed to keep around an awful lot of sunshine).
You thought of all the extras--fruit, a good cup
of tea, everything to make this a wonderful stay.
I loved having a chance to talk to you both when
I made it here at the end of each day--it was
truly like coming home. Thanks for a terrific few
days while I explored the wilds of Microsoft for
Parade. Everything was lovely--especially both
of you.

I'm glad my wife can't see
your home. This is
exactly the kind of house she's been looking for
for the last few years and in Northern Illinois
this house would very easily go for $500,000+.
As opposed to your typical hotel, I really felt
welcomed and at home here. I don't know why you
decided to open a Bed-n-Breakfast, but thanks.
Your home will be highly recommended to both the
company I am visiting here and my home office in
Illinois. Thanks again and good luck in the
future.

What a wonderful surprise to
have a "traveling
home" so close to my corner office! You are a
great hostess and I will return. Couldn't ask for
a better place to stay, relax, and prepare for
the next day. Thanks for getting me off on
time...tell Blue Wolf I'll play more with him
again.

Thank you for providing such
a beautiful place to
spend our first night on our honeymoon. It is a
lovely place! The dutch-baby was a nice surprise
because it is one of our favored breakfasts. You
have a beautiful garden as well.
Thank You,

Dear Bill & Marianne,
You have a lovely place! We spent two weeks
traveling through Western Washington and staying
at B&Bs and small inns--this place was the best!
And the piano music was an extra treat!

We are starting our 2nd full
day with Bill and Marianne, and so far they are the best
part of our Seattle experience. That's saying a
lot as we spent the greater part of our first day
enjoying the Japanese garden--the exquisite moss garden,
the shaped trees as though giant bonsai artists had
evoked their magic. And then off to the Market
Place. Oh, Marianne--what promises I break. I
wanted to write something each day--and behold we have
just bid you all "adieu," andtomorrow we leave. You and
Bill have been all that one could hope for. Thank
you for the imaginative breakfasts and for your bubbly
interest in life. And thank you for steering us
straight many times.
Good night Sweet People!

Newt and I are so pleased to
learn of your B&B. Last year was our first
experience in B&Bs, and hotels are so "yuk" after homes
such as yours!! It's so lovely. Thanks for your
warm and friendly hospitality. Seems almost
Southern! (Bill has rubbed off on you Marianne!) We love
Blue and your two cockateels. I wish you the
greatest success in the B&B and also a great time in New
Zealand. Hope to visit again one day.

Fran and I loved your nice
expansive home and our accommodations. Your long
"guide tour talks" helped a lot in planning our
forth-coming trip. I'm sure you'll have a great
time in New Zealand and in Australia, just as we did
last year.

At first we were kind of
unsure about staying in someone's home, we'd never been
to a bed and breakfast before, but we wanted some place
different, personal and pretty. We desperately
needed a romantic night away at a price we could
easily afford, at a place worth every cent, and we found
it--every bit. The room was beautiful, instantly
inviting, and wonderfully soothing for an expectant
mother's frazzeled nerves. Thank you for the romantic
escape, we will return.
